I started working out in a NYC Boxing gym at the
tender age of 37 and after four months of 8-12
hours/wk of punching stuff, I developed a mild case of
‘tennis’ elbow. At first, I used a drug store Ice
Pack, but holding it to my elbow for an hour a day and
being unable to do anything else was wearing on me. A
quick search turned up your product. Who knew how
much compression added to the healing process?!? Not
only am I able to move around, walk the dogs, etc. but
I can feel the cold going deeper through the use of
your product.
I hope my aging joints won’t require any more of your
products, but if they do, no shopping will be required
as I will be heading directly to coldone.com.
It’s a great product, ready to go right out of the freezer. It adjusts to fit your elbow and you can use it for your wrist. When done icing down for about 20 minutes I just put in the freezer for the next time. With the velcro it is easy to put on without need for anything else.Really helped when I had tennis elbow.
I bought the Cold One elbow wrap for my 12 yr. old
son who is a baseball pitcher. The compression along
with the long lasting cooling works wonders. It also
folds up and fits easily in the cooler when we travel.
I would definitely recommend Cold One products to
athletes young and old. Thanks!
I bought an elbow wrap for my son several years ago. He curently pitches for his high school team, and the product has worked wonders on sore elbows and biceps. Since then I purchased a shoulder wrap to go with it. Recently I found the need to replace the elbow wrap due to leakage from the cells. I guess that’s to be expected after 5-6 years of regular use.
I am a strong tennis player for over 30 years and have gotten tennis elbow, or injured myself many a time. So I am very experienced with ice therapy; consequently, I have made makeshift ice paks and purchased ice paks from the rehab stores but found them not to be very practical.
The elbow wrap was my first for tennis elbow which worked very well. Since I do 20 minutes on and 20 minutes off, the 20 minutes between to allow to freeze again was not enough time. I purchased an additional wrap which has worked out very well. The design of this wrap gives you the freedom of moving around, not worrying if it will fall off and it maintains a constant cold on the elbow without the sweating of ice. What I need to remember: I am doing therapy and should be resting while I treat myself rather than trying to do other things which may crack one of the cells from excessive stress. The wrap does give you the freedom of movement which is fabulous.
I have reccommended this product to others for tennis elbow, knees and back. They have been just as satisfied and happy with Cold One as I have. There ages range anywhere from 20 to 50 years of age. As a matter of fact I have purchased the knee, back and universal wrap for my husband and the neck wrap for myself and both of us have had great results.
My only regret about this product is I have a torn rotator cuff from playing tennis I wish the shoulder wrap was not as cumbersome or else I would probably purchase one.
Good for ease of use but the little squares are too weak and all break quite quickly. I still use it – but just as a convenience to strap cold bags on. Fix the flex strength on the squares and you will have a much better product.
Now that I have left an honest comment feel free to send a replacement!
Hello Hugo:
Martin will e-mail you tomorrow and replace your wrap. The gels should not lose their effectiveness even after years of use, but it is a complicated method to encapsulate the liquid mix in the poly material and maintain the proper seal. Obviously, this component has failed for you and is covered by our warranty.
I have bought aproximately 3 of these wraps. Unfortunately 2 of the 3 have had cells break just where I need them on my arm! While I love the convenience of these, the durability just has not been there. If this could be fixed, i would buy more because I currently need to ice every time after I play and these make it so easy!

Hello Susan:
We will contact you regarding the broken gels to make replacement. The process of encapsulating the gel liquid is complicated and as this is one of several comments we have received, we are reviewing the supplier process for the gels.

I used to use ice pads but this beats the headache of trying to strap them around my elbow big time. It is a good investment if you need it.
