I like the way to tighten it around the knee. I actually leave it on for 40mins, foot elevated. The chilling is mostly done after 20 mins but the compression and elevation thereafter is having a good additional effect. If the freezer is opened too many times during the period, it could take longer to freeze. Check the wrap before freezing and make sure the gels are plump. I have your knee wrap. My orthapaedic surgeon gave me it for my recovery from a meniscus tear. It is the best product of this nature that I have come across in a long time. I'm not given the opportunity to warm-up and this often times can result in various injuries. On a fire a few months ago I hurt my knee and had to take time off the job to heal.
